Major & minor Triads in the Key of A
Notice that each Major triad consists of the root note, a third interval, and a perfect fifth. Minor triads consist of the root, a flatted-third, and a perfect fifth.
You should usually play these as arpeggiated notes (one note at a time, rather than as a chord). You can start at the lowest E-string and play notes up string-by-string… or play only selected notes, such as from one red note up to the next red note, which will be one octave. Every circled note, red or blue, is within the key.
