Major 7th & minor 7th Triads
Add the 7th interval to your Major & minor triads for a "cool" sound. Notice that for minor keys, the 7th interval is "flatted" (moved one fret lower).
Notice that each Major triad consists of the root note, a third interval, and a perfect fifth. Minor triads consist of the root, a flatted-third, and a perfect fifth. This lesson adds the 7th interval. Note that the minor key 7ths are also flatted.
